Just a quick entry here. Our good friends, neighbor and carpenter Bob Zalaznik of Blue Prairie Cabinetry and Renovations LLC just picked up his business card order. He requested a new design with the working themes of prarie style, craftsmanship, vintage, quality. (Note: there is no web address. Bob is wicked oldschool!)We finalized this design and printed on crane lettra ecru paper. The tiny illustration of the hand planner was pulled from an antique home carpentry book from the 40's. The type selection was a modern adaptation inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright type designs.

We were recently commissioned by one Jeff Stammen of Christopher Chadbourne & Associates. They requested a run of presentation jackets. Black ink on 140 French stock... simple yet sophisticated. You can see for yourself that the job turned out wicked sexy! We just loved the little dinosaur logo they've whipped up. Jeff reports that everyone is really enjoying the final product. That's right folks, Dick and Jane Letterpress is expecting! We've held off on mentioning anything to anyone for some time but at this point we're half way along and there's just no hiding the baby bump! We recently visited the ultrasound tech to discover that we are most definitely have a beautiful bouncing baby boy! Some might think, huh... this is maybe kind of a strange thing to share with absolute strangers. The fact is, I'm so excited, I can't contain myself! You're just going to have to hear about it!

Tonight Dick and Jane Letterpress will be visiting with the Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC), Minnesota chapter! We were invited by both Cheri Rice (ABC Rep) as well as Angle Swits of By Your Side Weddings. We're very excited to mix it up tonight with the Minnesota bridal consultant scene!
