Summer is going by so quick! EEK! We have been slammed over the past few months making it difficult to keep the blog as updated as we'd like. Sonny just turned 2. We have a new intern and a new employee. We have recently finished some really amazing print projects. Took a trip to California. New Equipment and new friends. Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend. Here's a pic or two from the Parade that runs just down our street.

Been a busy few months right from the start of the season. New interns, babies, clients, and letterpress wedding invitations. We will soon be launching quite a number of new invitation collection. In the mean time, we will try our best to get some photos posted of a lot of the items we've been working on so far this season. Say hello to our newest team member - Jenny Da. Jenny comes to us from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. She's an MCAD Sophomore with a great eye for design and composition. She's working closely with us to aid in the creation of some really new and exciting invitation designs which we will be unveiling in the next few weeks or so. Some of the pieces she's creating include an amazing Minneapolis skyline featuring a flare of Marimekko style as well as some fun scroll work pieces. Can you believe it!?!? It's only been a year since we arrived here in the Minneapolis, St Paul area. It's been an exciting year, with lots of growth. New presses, interns, and babies (or at least one baby). With the great year we've decided to move to somewhat larger digs. We're moving to 2500 University Ave. Unit D6. New shop features hardwood floors, twelve-foot ceiling, and five presses. Above is a pic of the space prior to our moving. We will be sure to post updated shop pics once we are all settled in. Today was Mr. Micah's (Micah Edel) last day. Micah has been an intern here at Dick and Jane Letterpress for a few months. He has greatly contributed to print projects, stationery design, and overall shop fun-ness. He is currently moving on to a new and exciting project wonderfully referred to as "Sexy Pillows!" You will soon be able to check out his Sexy Pillows along with his new website at mistermicah.com. Soon, we expect you'll find him hanging out on the west coast with the Housewives of Orange County and guest staring on Oprah.
