Woo Hoo! We received an email last night that one of our weddings was featured on the Mpls/StP Magazine Aisle File! Big congrats to Catherine, Ken and the rest of the vendors that took part in this one. Dick & Jane provided the design, letterpress printing and foil stamping on these absolutely beautiful wedding invitations. We can definitely attribute the inspiration to the venue and it looks like Olive Juice Photography did a great job knocking this one out of the park. We're sol happy to see our clients and our work highlighted for the rest of the Twin Cities to celebrate. We are very excited to announce that Dick and Jane Letterpress has been featured in the seasons issue of Mpls St Paul Magazine's Wedding edition in an article titled "Letter Perfect." Four separate pieces were featured in this 5 page article including a letterpress plane ticket, an oversized full-bleed Script sample titled "Hollywood". A customer submitted design for the Lucas' and a wonderfully popular Letterpress Coaster design. Here are a few photos from the article. Just a few images we snapped over the last week or so. Although running a letterpress shop all day takes a lot of focus and attention, we always squeeze in time to play with our baby boy, Sonny. Usually, he's hanging out in the lounge area tearing up dads books!

That's right! We set the letterpress wedding invitations aside Thursday night for an evening of fun and entertainment as Dick and Jane Letterpress (along with an A-list of wedding vendors) partied with the Knot Magazine (MN). We managed to keep our heads together long enough to snap a few quick pics and even capture some small video clips. We compiled the pieces and posted to Youtube today for everyone to check out. Smart Women are Gifted! That's the concept behind the new Smart Women product. Julie from Smart Women wasted no time on this project. We worked with her on the design and layout over two sessions. We ended up with a really cute "Six Gift Bags for Kitchen Goodies!" Why was Julie in such a rush to get these produced? EXCELLENT QUESTION. The product has been requested by none other then Rachel Ray for inclusion in the July issue of Everyday with Rachel Ray (magzine)! Thanks to Smart Women Company, Dick and Jane Letterpress will have just a little piece of our work in one of the top magazines in the US and not to mention the 80+ international retailers surrently carrying Smart Women products.

We hope to continue our relationship with Smart Women Company for years to come. Special thanks to Julie for her immediate attention on the project and her wonderful design sense. Good things to come!
